Today’s mortals think they’re smarter than the gods. They’re trying to control their own fate, cheat death and even think they can divine the mysteries of the universe. There are too many humans, too many deaths to dish out and no time anymore to make them amusing. As a result, ratings on Celestial TV have plummeted and immortal viewers are demanding something new.
So, here it is…
We, three trainee Fates are let loose on Earth.
Our mission is to put the fun back into fatality and the comedy back into the kill.
We must provide the gods with vicarious thrills and our prize, in return, is control over the fate of all mankind. But, with the chance of power and fame comes the risk of humiliation and disaster. We must remember to entertain the gods and not get too attached to our human prey.
To find our first victims, we have been sent to the heartland of human ambition – a university, where young mortals believe they can change the world and the finest minds endeavour to discover the meaning of life.
Every new mission we will be given clues to help ensure we find the right victim. We’ll need your help too in making sure we kill the right person, otherwise we could affect the fate of all man-kind, forever…
